John Paul Martins (born October 8, 1984) is an American professional baseball outfielder who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Miami Marlins and Baltimore Orioles.
Martins was born in Miami, Florida, and attended Christopher Columbus High School. He played college baseball at Florida International University. The Marlins selected Martins in the third round of the 2006 MLB draft.
Martins made his MLB debut in 2009. He played for the Marlins from 2009 to 2013, and the Orioles in 2014. He signed with the Texas Rangers in 2015, but was released in March. Martins signed with the Orioles in April. He became a free agent after the 2016 season.
